正しい前置詞は？

Twitter で聞いたところ同じようなミスをする人も多いことが分かって少しだけ安心したが、ある意味典型的な間違いで早急に直す必要があるとも感じた。

今回書いた文章は

 Even floating on the water under the good weather is so relaxing ... 

 だった。

これに対して講師の修正は under を in に直せ、というものだった。その理由は次の通りである。

In English we say '..in the good weather ' as opposed to '...under the good weather.' 

修正についているコメントは超シンプルであったが、その分ネイティブから見れば明らかに間違えようがないミスということなのだろうか。ということで、英英辞書で under the weather を引いてみると一目瞭然だった。

I'm feeling a bit under the weather - I think I'm getting a cold.

本当に英文添削は学びがある。文法面でも語彙面でも伸びる余地を感じる。なぜこれまでやってこなかったのか、不思議でならない。
