用例①
The Guardian の例。ここでは the snake oil of X という表現。

BBC でも使われている表現らしい。ここでは snake oil salesmen といういかにも煽りに使えそうな用例となっていて素晴らしい。

最後にWashington Postの例。これ(distinguish the truly useful tools from the snake oil)もそのまま暗記しても良さそうな表現。
